ROD WILSON
Rod Wilson has performed extensively as a featured pianist and a member of very diverse bands and orchestras. These include rock bands, brass bands, jazz bands, big bands, and classical ensembles.
He has accompanied and performed with, some of Melbourne's most talented artists, including close friend, Greg Stewart, in concerts, luxury hotels, bars, lounges, clubs, restaurants and jazz venues.
Rod’s musicography is diverse and impressive. He was playing keyboards at the Sunbury Pop Festival when Deep Purple and Billy Thorpe were striding the stage. Later credits include national and international tours, ABC and commercial television programs, stints as a studio musician, record and album production, live television appearances, concert performances and musicals.
Rod has been a regular performer at Bar Deco at the Grand Hyatt, Sofi’s at the Sofitel on Collins, the Windsor and the Carlton Crest Hotel.
He is currently performing as a soloist at " High Tea" at the Hotel Windsor and Hotel Sofitel on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
